Ian Beardsley. The Albanian Connection – A race from London to Tirana by public transport
In August 2024, Ian was involved in a race from London to Albania, a journey of almost 2000 miles, which was undertaken almost entirely using public buses, trains and a ferry and which took him through some vastly varied landscapes. Illustrated using shots taken on an iPhone, he will tell the story of the race and then the long journey back through the Balkans.
