Roger Fountain Photography

On the 30th October 2025, we had a delightful talk from Roger Fountain.

“My World of Monochrome with a Dash of Colour”

This was a print talk by Derby based photographer Roger Fountain, who took us on a journey with his ‘World of Monochrome’. He finished with his acclaimed Fine Art Architectural images and demonstrates his processing technique with some before and after images.

The assembled members learned a great deal about (patience!) and various techniques used to product some of Rogers fabulous black and white imagery.

Martin Vaughn Photography

On the 6th November 2025, we had a delightful talk from Martin Vaughn.

“Costa Rica”

A tiny country, one that has the most diverse nature in the world.

This was a talk by Martin Vaughn about his trip to Costa Rica on an organised tour covering much of the incredible range of plants, birds, animals, insects, and scenery the country has to offer.

All members thoroughly enjoyed his talk, some have been to Costa – some are planning a visit! We look forward to their efforts in the NewYear. Later in the evening we learned of another trip involving floating hides on a lake, and leeches. Delightful.
