Summer Programme 2015

Below are the initial details of the summer programme for 2015. Full details of each event will be published separately as they  become available.

11 Jun Thu City Lights  [Nottingham] Outing Approval document to be submiited to Nottingham City Council. Outing Subject to approval Ian Pettit/Paul Cooper
20 Jun Sat Chellaston – Spirit of Chellaston Exhibition This is the second year we have been invited to Chellaston for their event. Last year this was a hugh success and a really enjoyable day.
25 Jun Thu Southern Peak District.
Arbor Low, Lathkill Dale, Manifold Valley
A trip to the Southern parts of the Peak District, with a number of different locations depending on the prevailing weather. This will be a chance to practice taking shot with the intention of producing a panoramic. Paul Cooper

11 Jul Sat Melbourne Carnival [Holidays Theme]Exhibition Its Carnival time. Our regualr exhibition at the Melbourne Carnival. The theme this year is Holidays, so dress up for the summer. Jo Mallard
23 Jul Thu Clay Mills Pumping Station Outing Go back in time with this industrial working museum on our doorsteps.  Although not in steam we will have the oppourtunity of exploring the pumpin station at leisure. There is a cost to this event. Members £8.00 and non members £10.00 Ian Pettit
08 & 09 Aug Saturday & Sunday Melbourne Hall Exhibition Following the cancellation of last years event due to flooding  we are back in our regular slot for the opening of Melbourne Hall.  This is always a very pleasant event to participate in. Jo Mallard
14 & 15 Aug Saturday or Sunday Historic House & Grounds [Haddon Hall or Newstead Abbey] Outing Venue & Details to be agreed.
19 & 20 Aug Saturday or Sunday Melbourne Arts Festival Exhibition Our main and annula exhibition of the year, a real oppourtunity to show what we do and meet a large number of vistors and future members Jo Mallard
10 Sep Thu Ramshaw Rocks & Roaches & Hen Cloud Landscape Outing Sunset at Ramshaw Rocks & Roaches & Hen Cloud. A Landscape workshop at some of the best locations in the Peak District. Local departure at 16.00 and return approximately 22.00. Paul Cooper
24 Sep Thu Open Evening A warm welcome to new & established members. This evening will be a short introduction to the Society and its programme for the next 12 months. President
