Summer Exhibitions Support

A message from Jo

It’s that time of year where I hassle you for commitment and prints for forthcoming Summer Exhibitions.  So far we have the following arranged, and I ask you to read, consult diaries and commit where possible.

Spirit of Chellaston (Carnival)     Saturday 20th June     12noon till 5pm

Setting up will be available at the pitch in Chellaston from 8.00am till 11.00am.  I think, based on last year, we can meet at TCMH at 8.00am and load up my van.

Please let me know if you are able to a)  Help me load up (just a couple of people needed for that)

        b)   Help set up at Chellaston from 9.00am

        c)    Man the stall for either morning or afternoon  (I will stay all day)

        d)    Help dismantle and offload at TCMH from 4.30 – 5pm

        e)    Provide prints

         f)    Provide a tent (please let me know the approximate dimensions)

Melbourne Carnival     Saturday 11th July 2015

Precise details t.b.a. but similar to the above.  Tent provided for this venue.  In addition the Carnival Committee have requested that we supply 2 people for the gate duties between 1.00pm and 2.00pm, and posssibly between 12.30pm to 1.30pm for which we will receive some financial contribution to our coffers as well as admittance passes to the Carnival.

Melbourne Hall       Saturday and Sunday 8-9th August

Again, firm details t.b.a.  And again, similar to the above. The venue will be inside so no tent required.  Setting up will be on the Saturday morning and dismantling on Sunday afternoon.

Melbourne Festival     Saturday and Sunday 19-20th September

This is the biggie.  Takes place in TCMH and set up on the Friday night about 6-7pm.

We need help setting up, manning during the two days and dismantling on the Sunday afternoon.  We offer tea/coffee and cakes for sale so more help for that aspect.  We need prints for displaying and also digis for a slide show ongoing throughout each of the two days.  (More about the digis later).

Please help where you can and let me have your lovely prints.

Thanks, Jo, Exhibition Secretary
