NEMPF Competition Results and Viewing

There is a coffee shop and bistro on site, so there is a good reason to visit while the exhibition is on and take the family with you.

“This year’s N&EMPF Exhibition will be held in Eastwood Nottingham. We aim to have a fun packed day were you can see all the accepted prints in two venues. We are pleased to announce that we are in Durban House, Eastwood and The Dora Phillips Hall , Wood Street, Eastwood, NG16 3DD Map for Directions for the digital show and presentation. There will some parking available outside the Hall however will be limited, please view the following to find out more about parking in Eastwood Car parking in Eastwood.

The all the award winning prints and some of the accepted prints will be on display at the D H Lawrence Heritage Centre, Durban House, Eastwood Nottinghamshire from the 11th January until the 7th February 2014.

The PDI images and hopefully the remaining prints (which can’t be displayed at Durban House) will be projected and displayed at the The Dora Phillips Hall. It would be great to see as many of your members attending. We will have refreshments and seating and the opportunity to see hundred of images from all the accepted images in this year exhibition, as well as viewing the prints on display at Durban House beforehand.

10.00 The doors open at Durban House
11.30 The official opening of the exhibition
13.00 Welcome to the Dora Phillips Hall
13.15 Refreshment and viewing of the images
14.00 PDI 1st half showing
15.15 PDI showing 2nd half
16.30 Break and time to view prints, sponsors and refreshments
17.30 Award ceremony
18.15 Raffle prize draw
19.00 Coffee and Social time, Refreshments available
20.00 Close

We are holding a grand raffle and have already received some excellent prizes from some of our Sponsors. I would like to take this opportunity to ask for more prizes please. If you have one or two you would like to donate please email me and I will add them to the list (, and look forward to receiving them on the day, if not before.

We would also like to ask if your club owns a wooden print stand (the kind that can hold 10 or more prints) we would like to borrow for the day at the Dora Phillips Hall. We would require a member from your club to bring the stand along on the day and take it home at the end of the day. It is expected to be a fun packed day, which I hope everyone will enjoy. It will be your only chance to see the entire accepted prints in one day. Come along and celebrate the excellent work from the camera clubs in our area. Some of our sponsors will be having tables at the Dora Phillips Hall and it would be an opportunity for to pick their brains and maybe bag your self a bargain to boot. I will be on hand all day to answer any questions relating to the exhibition, and it will be your chance to have your say about your exhibition. You can help shape the future of the exhibition and make our show case event even better.

I hope to see as many of you there as can make it. Raffle tickets will be on sale from today and on the day. You can get your tickets by emailing me direct or on the day. Please remember to contact me if you have prizes for our raffle. The event is open to anyone with an interest in photography so tell your friends and family.
