Hello everyone this is my first year as Exhibitions Secretary and so here goes with my first note for the year.
Our first event is the Melbourne Carnival this will be on Saturday 13th July
If you would like to exhibit prints I will need to receive them by Thursday 4th July latest please.
To make the day happen I also need volunteer helpers to set up our display and to meet the visitors. As last year we are sharing a marquee with the historical society. The morning from 09:00 will be spent setting up. The Carnival opens at 12:00 and runs until 16:30 at which point helpers are needed to clear away and store everything. .Please get in touch if you can help
It would be very helpful to know if you can or cannot help so please let me know either way by mail, text, or call
Next is the Print display at Melbourne Hall 10th to 11th August. If you want to display your work please let me know. If I can have your work a week before it will make sorting everything so much easier so that will be Thursday 1st August .
The festival is the 14/15th September and our society display will be in our usual venue The Thomas Cook Hall. I am away this week end so will not be available would someone please volunteer to manage this weekend on behalf of the club.
Finally we have an opportunity to display and to sell our work At Burton Library.I do not have any more details at this stage but will be able to let you know shortly.
