This will be held at the same venue as last year.
This is a very prestigious event and gives us our chance to promote the club and show off our work, to improve local awareness and to help gain new members.
Gaining new members is really important for the club as it keeps the club vibrant, plus if we have more members we are more secure financially. As it is an all weekend event we really need some more help from the membership. To make sure this runs smoothly we need club members to volunteer their time (1 – 2 hours) to assist with this exhibition.
We are looking for the following:-
- To help set the stand on Friday evening the prints need to be put into frames and hanging, plus putting up the gazebo.
- To man the stand on Saturday.
- To man the stand on Sunday.
- Then dismantle the stand after 17:00hrs on Sunday and return boards etc. to Thomas Cook hall.
We also need you to submit your images to display.
We are arranging a collection of your prints at Harpers on Thursday 14th September at 21:00hrs. If you cannot make it to Harper’s you can please let me know by email, we will try and collect them from you. We will be running the Tombola again, as this raised £200.00 last year, which was a big boost to funds. So please can you donate any suitable items.
