Northumberland Photographic Field Trip, November 18 to 20 2016, Based in Seahouses Area.

This year’s UK annual trip is planning to go to the Northumberland Coast area. The trip will go out on Friday morning and return Sunday afternoon / evening. The plan, weather permitting is to visit the following photographic locations. A quick glance through the magazines will show how good the photo opportunities are in the area.

    • Dunstanburgh Castle
    • Craster
    • Lindasfarne / Holy Island
    • Bamburgh Castle
    • Seahouses
    • Berwick Upon Tweed

The plan is to base ourselves out of one of the hotels in Seahouses. The cost inclusive of Dinner, Bed & Breakfast, plus travel costs, should be in the order of £155 per member. You will need to provide your own lunches and drinks. All rooms will be single occupancy.

If you are interested in attending this members trip, please contact Paul Cooper to book your place. There are already 8 members planning to attend the event, and there is only limited space availability at the local hotels, so get your booking in early. Once we know numbers on the 7th April we will make the initial booking and identify if there are more additional spaces available. This will need a deposit paying to secure the hotel room. We look forward to hearing from you.

Spring European Trip

2016 will see the Society again travelling for a three night break to Europe. This year destination will be Gdansk in Poland over the weekend of the 5th March.
Our travel agent has offered us the  Hotel Gdansk, situated close the the centre of Gdansk old town. The cost of the trip is circa £245.00. Specific prices are unknown as the flight prices are determined at the time of booking.
The cost includes flights to Gdansk from Manchester, including 15kg of hold luggage, plus hand luggage, transfers from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is based on bed & breakfast. We will try and book single occupancy rooms unless otherwise requested. Due to the size of the group we will need to request rooms from the hotel at the time of booking and then wait for confirmation of availability.
We will need to book the trip as soon as possible to ensure we get the rooms required and the prices quoted. Could you please advise me by email, by Monday evening at the latest if you are planning to go on this trip, we can then discuss further with the travel agent where we will be required to pay a deposit of £112.00 per person.
